Call for Paper

The revolution of the fourth industry, also known as Industry 4.0, currently remains a relevant phenomenon and is one of the most prominent topics internationally, both in industry and academia. The combination that can be implemented from Industry 4.0 is physical and digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligent (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Augmented Reality (AR), Cloud Computing and Additive Manufacturing. This can provide a role as the core and the result of digital transformation with the revolution from Industry 4.0 which will lead to important changes in society and adaptation to a changing environment. One of the supporting technologies for the Industrial World 4.0 is Digital Twin. The Technology of Digital Twin is at the forefront of the Industry 4.0 revolution facilitated by advanced data analytics and IoT technology. The rich IoT environment, combined with data analytics, provides an important resource for predicting maintenance and faults as well as on manufacturing processes and their future development. This technology is undoubtedly empowering a smart society. However, its implementations still face several challenges and unified solutions may be needed. Hence, to discuss the solutions toward the smart community, we cordially invite you to participate in the 8th International Conference on ICT for Smart Society (ICISS) 2021.  The conference will be held on August 2nd-4th, 2021 in Bandung City, Indonesia. This conference is organized by the Information Technology Research Group of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Bandung Institute of Technology.
